Family owned, authentic Italian restaurant. We pride ourselves in making everything in house with fresh ingredients bought daily from the local community! Family style restaurant.
We have always had a passion for food! We owned a restaurant in Italy where Pepeo (My husband/Co-owner) is from. We then moved to the Caribbean where we owned a pizzeria bakery! I spent a period of time in my youth living in Edmonton and area and knew eventually that we would return here as a place to raise our children. We wanted to bring our passion and experience of serving quality food to the Parkland County area!
They would say that they love the genuine atmosphere of the restaurant, having great food to eat and having passionate owners who care about the customers.
Everyday here there is a genuine positive experience with customers and their satisfaction with the food! People are happy to have a locally owned and operated restaurant to bring their families to.
We have revamped the menu including previous specials now being part of the fixed menu. We would like to offer $15.00 lunch specials, wine Wednesdays featuring 50% off of house wines. Family Sundays featuring spaghetti & meatballs with ice cream for 12 and under for only $10.00 as well as house wine specials on Sundays too!
That our food is true authentic Italian food. Also that we are a locally owned and operated business!
I really enjoy working on and in my own business. A sense of accomplishment in building and serving a client base and getting to know the community!
Be patient, believe in yourself and be prepared! Involve yourself in the community and always remember quality over quantity!
This neighbourhood is so well maintained. There is great community spirit and the residents want to support local amenities and businesses.
I enjoy going to the parks in Spruce Grove. Jubilee and Central Park standout most in my mind! They both have great access to trails and have great scenery!
As for the food, Porta Romana is well worth the short drive to Spruce Grove for the feeling you’ve travelled to Italy, at least for one night.
